Match data providers
Schedules, results, live scores and standings are sourced from licensed sports data providers. We name the provider on the relevant page and we pause the displayed numbers when the feed is paused or delayed rather than estimate.
Pressing metrics and expected goals
Pressing triggers are calculated from event data with a defined zone, trigger pressure and opposition pitch territory. We use a published threshold and publish the full methodology before any aggregate metric that we calculate ourselves goes into a story.
Cricket analytics
Run rates, dot percentages, false-shot percentages and batter-versus-bowler matchups are sourced from licensed providers. Where we calculate our own cricketing metrics we publish the formula here.
Sample data
Until a verified provider feed is wired into the live site, the published tables and player cards on this build carry clearly labelled sample values. A short note on the relevant page identifies sample sections.
